International Exam Policy

The MDCB terminated the international eligibility route to sit for the CMD examination as of the September 2025 administration. After the September 2025 administration, only International applicants accepted into a dosimetry program in the 2024 calendar year will be eligible to apply through the international eligibility route. Applications will be reviewed in accordance with the international eligibility application process.  For those accepted into a dosimetry program in the 2024 calendar year, the first attempt to take the CMD examination must be completed no later than January 2027; candidates who do not successfully pass the examination after three attempts must reapply under the then-current eligibility rules.
